A staff of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu, Mrs. Stella Achara was on Monday arraigned before an Enugu State High Court over alleged job scam.

$1.3b NNPC Cash: I Acted On Jonathan's Instructions - Diezani
Former Minister of Petroleum Resources Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke yesterday said she acted on the instructions of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan in directing the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to release $1.3billion to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). She said it was not within the power or discretion of any minister to question or disregard the written directive of a president. I pay N2,500 for human flesh – Islamic cleric confesses 
Men of the Oyo State Police Command on Thursday paraded an Islamic cleric (Alfa), a pastor, and two others, who were allegedly caught with suspected human parts in the Ayegun area of Ibadan.The State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude, said Alfa, Sulaiman Hamed, 35, participated in the Fidau prayers for a dead man but later contracted two men to exhume the corpse because he needed the body parts for money ritual.

Court Orders Forfeiture Of £578,080.00 Stolen From NIMASA To FG

Justice Saliu Saidu of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the final forfeiture of the sums of £578,080.00 found by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the account of a maritime firm, ZAL Marine Limited domiciled in Diamond Bank. Justice Saidu granted the order after entertaining an ex parte application argued by the counsel to the EFCC, Rotimi Oyedepo, under the provisions of section 17 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2006. N400m fraud: SUPREME COURT DISMISSES Metuh’s No-case submission appeal

The Supreme Court, on Friday, affirmed the decision of the Court of Appeal, Abuja, which dismissed the appeal on no-case submission filed by Olisa Metuh, former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Metuh is standing trial for allegedly receiving N400 million from the office of the former National Security Adviser, retired Col. Sambo Dasuki. Read more
